This round of the Friday Hivechess was a very slow starter for me. I started off with a bunch of losses before getting my first win, then I moved on to win more games before getting into the grove to finish on 3rd place. The most annoying was losing a bunch of games to FCastrol because I came losing to him every time I got paired against him.
From 3 losses to my first win with a messy performance of 1855 and a win rate of 53%. This is not a good performance for me but the interesting part is the fact I got to win the International master.
This is the game against the International master where my position was not so great but I was ahead on time. What got us racing for time was because we berserked. The position was not really simple to play but what worked for me because I played out the logical moves fast enough. Not thinking about it too much, just kept moving and moving to get ahead on time. Thankfully I did not get mayed in the process of blitz out my moves.
This is the point where my position even got so worse that even after the capture of the rook, there will be more weak squares around my black king.

Game
Here the second game that got me so pissed off that I screamed. I got the advantage while my opponent blundered due to time pressure and sadly I flagged while looking for the best move.
It was interesting but more impressing for me.
This one is a funny game against justola and it was pretty hilarious because he was threatening a mate and I was there smiling while moving more pieces. Then all of a sudden, it was checkmate. I did not see it until it happened. Fortunately you need see my reaction when it happened. Checkmate, how??? And that is it. Sadly that is all I had.
Here is another game where I tried my utmost best to holding to the passed pawn for so long time to see where I could get to or at least how far I could hold on. The passed pawn threat of promoting is what kept the position draw
