Hello DIY Hub friends, greetings to all of you. I hope you had a pleasant weekend and are ready to join me today to show you how I transformed small scraps of fabric into a cute coin purse. This time I didn't want to throw anything away, so I decided to make the most of every little piece of fabric.

Paso 1

comencé por marcar el patrón de un monedero de mano pequeño que tenía,y entonces lo marque sobre una hoja de papel,luego pase a marcar lo mismo pero sobre la tela marrón, doble la tela a la mitad de manera que quedará doble y luego marque y recorte la forma,corte dos partes porque sera para la parte de adentro y de afuera.

Step 1

I started by marking the pattern of a small handbag I had, and then I marked it on a sheet of paper, then I went on to mark the same thing but on the brown fabric, I folded the fabric in half so that it would be double and then I marked and cut out the shape, I cut two parts because it will be for the inside and outside.

Paso 2

Luego cosi las dos partes,dejando solo la parte en forma cuadrada de las esquinas de abajo sin coser.Luego cosi el cierre,lo colo del lado de frente a la tela y fui cosiendo un lado primero,y después pase del otro lado del monedero.

Step 2

Then sewed the two parts together, leaving only the square-shaped part at the bottom corners unsewn. Then I sewed the zipper, placing it on the front side of the fabric and sewing one side first, and then I moved to the other side of the coin purse.

Paso 3

Después cosi la parte cuadrada de abajo, después de que esa parte estaba cosida le di la vuelta al monedero y así se ve ya una vez cosido todo.

Step 3

Then I sewed the square bottom part, after that part was sewn I turned the coin purse inside out and this is what it looks like once everything is sewn.

Paso 4

Como ya tenía el monedero listo,me puse a hacer la decoración, entonces tome un recorte de tela y marque la forma de arco,que será para hacer las orejas del osito, entonces cosi la forma y luego le di la vuelta,y así se ven las orejitas ya cosidas.

Step 4

Since I already had the coin purse ready, I started decorating it. I took a piece of fabric and marked the shape of an arch, which will be used to make the teddy bear's ears. Then I sewed the shape and turned it inside out, and this is how the ears look once they're sewn on.

Paso 5

Ya cuando tenía las dos orejitas listas pase a coser las al monedero,las cosi a los lados.

Step 5

Once I had both little ears ready, I proceeded to sew them onto the coin purse, sewing them on the sides.

Paso nro 6

Con los retazos de color blanco,recorte la parte de la nariz y ojos,luego marque en dónde iban a estar ubicados,y empecé a coserlos a mano también. Y quedó la carita del osito.

Step 6

Using the white scraps, I cut out the nose and eyes, then marked where they would go, and started sewing them on by hand. And that's how the little bear's face turned out.

Paso 7

Y como último detalle,le cosi las cuentas de color negro en los ojos para simular las pupilas,y en la nariz también cosi una cuenta.

Step 7

And as a final detail, I sewed black beads onto the eyes to simulate pupils, and I also sewed a bead onto the nose.
