Hello to everyone in this community and fellow craft lovers! I'm so happy that being away from home has allowed me to break out of my routine and dedicate myself to different things, like drawing on paper or making physical collages. This time, the collage I made was inspired by the anime JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE, which is one of my favorites and is currently airing its seventh season. So, it's a great way to pay homage to Araki's work 😌
For those who don't know, collages are an artistic tool that allows you to create illustrations using clippings from magazines, newspapers, wrappers, fabric, plastic... Basically, you can use all sorts of materials in your collage! The important thing is to focus on creating something that makes you feel fulfilled and, of course, enjoy the process from beginning to end. I think it's a fantastic hobby for those of us who love recycling, as it allows us to find a use for just about anything.
However, the collage I'm going to show you today was made only with paper, more specifically with pieces of old magazines. I didn't have a specific idea in mind, which I highly recommend having at the beginning so you don't get stressed about not knowing where to start (because if you have a lot of clippings, choosing which ones to use can be a challenge when you're indecisive 😖). Anyway, the theme can be anything: a color, a phrase, an idea... While I was reviewing the cutouts I had previously made, I found a pattern; some figures made me think of the anime mentioned above, so I ventured to do something with it.
It's worth mentioning that what motivated me most to create this collage was a cutout of a male face that made me think of Josuke Higashitaka, the protagonist of Part 4 of the anime, as well as a great photograph of a horse (Part 7 is based on a horse race), and phrases that reminded me of the anime, like "style," "art," and "strategies." The colorful and eye-catching style, along with the captivating plots, is what motivates me to continue watching each of the stories.

⭐️ A Little Bit of Anime Aesthetics ⭐️
I started working on the background. I glued on the cutout I had of the horse and tore up some images of colorful paintings that reminded me of the first part of the anime. Using school glue, I filled the sheet without any pattern, placing each piece wherever I wanted while listening to a video in the background. I left some blank spaces so it wouldn't be too saturated... although, the collage will look saturated anyway, haha. The tearing technique is lovely. You can make a drawing and fill it in with pieces like this, and it looks spectacular. Here's an example of a drawing I created using this technique. It's something I'd like to try in the coming days, taking advantage of these bursts of creative energy I'm feeling 😌

So, I glued on the face shape, as well as a suit, because one of the peculiar characteristics of this work is that the clothing is inspired by fashion. It seems that Araki, its author, besides loving music, adores fashion, and this is reflected in his characters' poses and their extravagant outfits that look like they came straight off a runway. Unfortunately, I didn't find any more interesting men's clothing among my scraps. I also cut out letters to spell out the anime's name.

Next, I glued on the words that made me think of anime, and I added details to the cutout of the male face to make it look more like my favorite character. I used my colored markers for this, and I have to say I loved how it turned out. Now I can finally say it looks like Josuke 😆 I also took the opportunity to draw some stars and hearts with the markers to fill in the blank spaces and add more color to the collage, because color lovers know that "you can never have too much" 🌈

And so, the collage was finished ⭐️ I would have loved to find more elements to represent each season of the anime, but oh well... that gives me the opportunity to make new collages and try to focus on the ones I missed. I truly love making collages because it's a hobby with a lot of freedom and it allows me to forget about social media for a while. So I invite you to join in! As you can see, the materials are the least important thing; the most important thing is imagination and giving ourselves the chance to do an activity that helps us connect more with that creative side we all have and that we just need to let out 😊

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de las manualidades! Estoy muy feliz porque estando fuera de casa he podido salir un poco de la rutina y dedicarme a realizar cosas diferentes, como dibujar en papel o hacer collages físicos. En esta oportunidad, el collage que realicé lo hice inspirado en el anime JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE, el cual es de mis favoritos y actualmente se encuentra en emisión su séptima temporada. Por lo tanto, es una buena forma de hacerle homenaje a la obra hecha por Araki 😌
Para el que no sepa, los "collages" son una herramienta artística de expresión que te permite crear ilustraciones a través de recortes de revistas, periódicos, envoltorios, tela, plástico... Vamos ¡Que podemos utilizar todo tipo de material en nuestro collage! Lo importante es que nos enfoquemos en crear algo que nos haga sentir pleno y por supuesto, disfrutar del proceso de inicio a fin. Opino que es un hobbie fantástico para los que somos amantes del reciclaje, pues nos permite hallarle uso a cualquier cosa.
Sin embargo, el collage que les mostraré el día de hoy, solamente fue elaborado con papel, más específicamente con trozos de revistas viejas. No tenía una idea en concreto, lo cual, recomiendo mucho tener al principio para que no se estresen al no saber por dónde empezar (porque si tienen muchos recortes, escoger cuales usar, puede resultar un desafío cuando se es indeciso 😖). En fin, el tema puede ser cualquier cosa: un color, una frase, una idea... Mientras yo revisaba los recortes que había recortado con anterioridad, encontré un patrón, algunas figuras me hicieron pensar en el anime mencionado en la parte de arriba, así que me aventuré a hacer algo con ello.
Cabe mencionar que lo que más me motivó a realizar este collage fue el recorte del dibujo de un rostro masculino que me hizo pensar en Josuke Higashitaka, el protagonista de la parte 4 del anime, así como una fotografía genial de un caballo (la parte 7 se basa en una carrera de caballos), así como frases que me hacían pensar en el anime, como "estilo", "arte" o "estrategias". El estilo colorido y llamativo, así como sus tramas tan atrapantes, es algo que me motiva a continuar cada una de las historias.

⭐️ Un poco de la estética del anime ⭐️
Empecé trabajando en el fondo. Pegué el recorte que tenía al caballo y rasgué unas imágenes de pinturas coloridas que me hicieron pensar en la primera parte del anime. Con pegamento escolar, fui llenando la hoja sin ningún patrón, colocando cada trocito dónde quería mientras escuchaba algún video de fondo. Dejé algunos espacios en blanco para no hacerlo tan saturado... aunque, el collage al final luzca saturado de todas formas jaja La técnica del rasgado es linda. Podemos hacer un dibujo y rellenarlos con trocitos así y queda espectacular. Aquí les dejo un ejemplo, de un dibujo al cual le apliqué esta técnica. Es algo que me gustaría replicar en los próximos días, aprovechando estos brotes de
energía creativa que tengo 😌

Luego, pegué la figura del rostro, así como de un traje, porque una de las características peculiares de esta obra, es que las vestimentas están inspiradas en prendas de moda. Parece que Araki, su autor, aparte de amar la música, adora la moda y lo refleja en las poses de sus personajes y en sus extravagantes vestimentas que parecieran salir de una pasarela. Lamentablemente, no encontré más ropa de caballero interesante entre mis recortes. De igual modo, recorté letras para formas el nombre del anime.

Seguidamente, pegué las palabras que me hicieron pensar en el anime, así como dibujarles detalles al recorte del dibujo del rostro masculino, para que luciera más parecido a mi personaje favorito. Para ello utilicé mis marcadores de colores y debo mencionar que amé como quedó. Ahora si puedo decir que se parece a Josuke 😆 Aproveché también de hacer algunas estrellas y corazones con los marcadores, para llenar espacios en blanco y aportarle más color al collage, porque los amantes del color sabemos que "nunca es suficiente" 🌈

Y de esta forma, el collage estuvo listo ⭐️ Me hubiera gustado encontrar más elementos para representar cada una de las temporadas del anime, pero bueno... eso me deja la oportunidad de hacer nuevos collages y tratar de enfocarme en los que me faltaron. En verdad, adoro hacer collages porque es un hobbie con mucha libertad y me permite olvidarme por un rato de las redes sociales. Así que los invito a sumarse, como pudieron ver, los materiales son lo de menos, lo más importante es la imaginación y darnos el chance de hacer una actividad que nos haga tener más conexión con ese lado creativo que todos tenemos y que solamente, debemos dejar salir a flote 😊
