The pace with which the metaverse space if growing is huge. In no time, we will dine out in the metaverse space and might even go for international travel.
More and more people have now not only started to accept the concept but have also started to change their lives around it.
I recently came across an article where an Indian couple planned to host their wedding reception in metaverse rather than having a physical wedding. Not only was it an interesting read, having it come from an Indian made me proud.
So it's a Tamil Nadu based couple who are planning to get married in their village and later, host a virtual reception. The reception will be having Hogwarts theme since the couple is a great Harry Potter fan. The guy apparently is actively involved in the crypto space and has knowledge of the metaverse. His idea behind hosting his own wedding reception is to introduce the concept to Indians, create awareness and then launch his own start up around it. And that's great actually.
And there's an emotional angle involved too. The bride's father passed away last year and with this metaverse reception, the groom aims to bring a virtual avatar of her father and surprise her. I think that's too sweet a gesture.
It's time we start thinking in the direction of metaverse as more and more companies are starting to invest in it. I did mention about Samsumg earlier, other companies being Microsoft and Facebook.
We all here, on blockchain platforms, are way ahead of the world when it comes to crypto knowledge. It's time we use it to create some innovation in the metaverse.
You never know, you can be the next in the rich list soon.
