북한산 승가봉(Bukhansan Mountain Seunggabong Peak)
Seunggabong Peak (567m) rises in the middle of the Bibong Ridge, giving you a view of Gugi Valley, Seunggasa Temple, Samobawi Rock, and Saja Ridge and Bohyeonbong Peak.
The name Seunggabong Peak comes from Seunggasa Temple, located just below the peak. Seunggasa Temple was founded in 756 by Sutae, a monk of Nangjeoksa Temple, and uniquely enshrined Monk Seunggasa, a Westerner.
