Recently, I have met my classmate from Bangladesh in the downtown of Beijing city and we have spent a quality day in the heart of the city in the old Beijing city area. The area is very close to the centre and still the area is full of old views as the whole area is restricted for modern construction in my knowledge. The street are not so spacious and there is no divider also as they are kept same like in older days. But these street are the busiest street of the city as thousands of tourists walk on these beautiful street. The spring beauty attract the tousirst in this area of the city. The street known as the Guojzijian street located in the north-eastern side of the Forbidden Kingdom which is the center of the city.
Wherever you look, you can see abundance of tourist in the whole area and the vehicles on the road are having tough tie to cross due to excessive pressure fro the tourists. Especially, the month of April and May Beijing gets so any tourists, not only from the all over China but from abroad too. And so during this period, on weekends the city becomes so crowdy and every tourist spots are full of people. My friend told me that he has visited the Great Wall of China with his client and he found the Great Wall was also so crowdy on workdays.
The spring beauty as its peak on both side of the trees on this road which are very old trees and their gigantic appearance with the full of green leaves, makes the surroundings a spectacular one. The breathtaking scenarios are welcomed by the thousands of tourists who walk and explore the old Beijing town here on both sides without the modern skyscraper architecture in this area.
My friend and I had a great walk in the street, and my friend was a photo lover, so I took a lot of photos of him, but I am sharing a couple of them with his permission. There are a lot of foreigners also as there are a lot of tourist spots in the surrounding area, including the Lama temple, Confucius temple, Beihai Park, Jingshan Park, National Museum, Tianmen Square, and the best one Forbidden Kingdom. Many people visit multiple destinations in this area.
In conclusion, very few streets are as beautiful as this one in the overall Beijing city being a narrow and less modern street of such an advanced city like Beijing. It shows that how the Beijing Municipal is protecting their history and tradition as it was a hundred years ago in this section of the city which is really a praiseworthy job.
I hope you like my walking session in such a beautiful and historic street in Beijing city with my friend recently. All the views of these streets and old houses are spectacular, bearing the history of old Beijing. Still it is a living legend for the whole nation that will inspire them throughout the time to come.
