It's good to be back from a holiday break. And while I did take it easy for the holidays I was sure not to slack off entirely when it came to hiking and planking. Let's get right back to it.

Video of the day
I recently came across this video of blockchain author and speaker Andreas Antonopoulos responding to a query essentially about Satoshi Nakamoto, but more indirectly in regarding what is The True Meaning Of Friendship Blockchain.
Interestingly in listening to the answer I thought that one could substitute Steem for Bitcoin and Steemit for Satoshi and get an discover an unexpected insight and optimism as to the state of our blockchain today. Check it out and see if you disagree with me.
Andreas M. Antonopoulos is a well known presenter regarding Bitcoin and open blockchain
Today's Activity
Today was a regular work day after a five day holiday break. The workday passed quickly and it was late afternoon before I knew it. We're staying in a familiar neighborhood not far from a university campus. I have always loved being on campus any time of year whether from my days as a student or a university staffer—right now, of course, the school is closed for a winter break. All is starkly quiet in contrast to the steady bustle of the semester.
Dinner was great: whiskey sours, sweet chili chicken wings, and Korean style pork tacos.
