However there is one plant I see in your list/house that was banned my father and to this day I have never had in any house I have lived in.
It is superstitions but can you guess which one.
It was used centuries ago to mask smells at funerals. It is was then not brought into a house as you did not want to invite death inside when it was not present. So yeah superstitions all around death and funerals.
