Hello everyone!
I was browsing some trending posts on Leo Finance and I found a few of them suggesting new members create an introduction post saying, among other things, what they plan to write about.
Since I'm very new to most things related to blockchain I decided that I'd try to share my journey with the community. Hopefully, with time, my content will become more useful to the general community, as I learn more, but, until then, maybe I can inspire other beginners like myself on their own journeys.
To start things off, my name is Tulio, I'm a project manager specialized in agile methods currently living in Brazil. I work for a company that is revolutionizing the education market in Brazil by adding technology and data-driven methodologies to schools all over the country. Love it!
My first contact with crypto and blockchain happened many years ago when I heard something about this thing called Bitcoin. At that time I listened to a lot of people who said it was a scam and, because I was too afraid to risk the little I had, I completely ignored everything related to it - big mistake, I know.
Many years later, after some people that were close to me had their lives changed because of crypto, I decided to learn more about it so here I am.
I'm still lost with all the names, terms, and concepts that are present in the world of blockchain and crypto but the community has been just amazing! I lost count of all the people who welcomed me and helped me with my beginner questions in the few days that I've been here. These people are the main reason I decided to start being more active here and write this post that hopefully will develop into a series of other posts. I really foresee a bright future with lots of learning and growth in many aspects!
