As far as the three topics that should not be included in this contest, for me they are easy to avoid. Politics is like Monopoly, money wins out every time, I detest the subject. For me religion is personal. Opinions on religion are just that, opinions. How then does this topic seem to bring out the worst in people! I will tell you how, people truely believe their opinion is the only one that counts. If more people were to acquiesce to this one simple line from Desiderata by Max Ehrman, "Therefor be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be", then religion would be worthy of discussion, and not bring out the EVIL side of religious know it alls. The third topic, crypto, blockchains, hard forks, etc. is all above my pay grade!

This year's Chenango Blues Festival was one of the best yet. We have been attending them for the last 22 years. Last year was their 25 Anniversary. This year's performers included Samantha Fish, Elvin Bishop's Big Fun Trio, A J Ghent, Cash Box Kings, Hubby Jenkins and the Prestage Brothers to name a few.

This is the treck we make to get to the prolific blueberry patch. The first leg of the outing we do on the 4 wheeler. It is a beaufiful journey into the forest. We are on the bike for about a 1/4 of a mile until we come to a small wooden bridge.
