Right at the middle of Yangon , there was a place which call Shwedagon Pagoda .The pagoda is so famous make this place is one of the must visit landmark when you are in Myanmar . People who come here is not just the tourist who want to watch those place like me , but all people from all over Myanmar . There is not just the monk , but regular people come and pray here.
WHAT MAKE SHWEDAGON PAGODA FAMOUS
There is a lot of stupa , buddha that has been put and make here . Interesting thing that , those stupa and buddha is not just come from Myanmar but also come from all across the world. The architecture is so magnificent and breathtaking. Shwedagon Pagoda main stupa was made by nearly 22,000 solid gold bar . It not just the pure gold but it also made and being decorate by a lot of jewel.
There is several entrance to come to this pagoda. It ll be open as early as 4 am until 10 pm everyday. During my visit , i has come at 2 pm and going back to my hotel around 9pm , the pagoda itself is quite big . You ll not have enough time to watch all the stupda , buddha and everything in detail . You might need to visit this place alone for several days. Im glad i have my opportunity to watch one of place that i can consider the best place to pray in Myanmar.
I hope i ll have another chance to visit Shwedagon Pagoda again next time. in future .
