Hi Everyone,
On a rare occasion, we can leave the littles ones at home with the grandparents and we go out for a date night. Don’t think it is something romantic, we just wanted a nice meal to enjoy and not worry about feeding the little people. I was craving for Japanese Yakiniku so we decided to try out the all you can eat style in the city. We rarely go to the city at night due to the kids so this would be the perfect opportunity.
As it is all you can eat, you can pretty much order anything on the menu via the iPad screen. There is an extra option of all you can drink & dessert menu for an extra $10 but we decided to skip that as we were there for the meat and other yummy food. For each adult, it was $84 per person for dinner (90 minutes) or if you want lunch, it is $44. We were there for dinner so we were looking at around $170AUD for the two of us that night.
We were given a semi-private room which was great so only two couples were there including us. It was a nice quiet area away from the main restaurant. You order from the scene and here are some of the options (there were loads to choose from).
There are also a number of sauces you can choose with your food and sashimi.
Just a note they require everyone to order what you can eat. Any leftover food will incur an extra charge as many people tend to over order and food goes to waste.
The food started to roll in and oh my goodness, it was sooooo good! All the beef cuts were nice and fresh and in particular, we love the skirts and tongue. Beef yukke was also nice with taste sauce mixed together and the egg. The sashimi was fresh and sweet which was well worth the price. There were also cooked food you can order as well as Japanese side dishes which I love. Why I love all you can eat yakiniku? I don’t need to cater to anyone and order whatever I want to eat in particular the sashimi and wagyu beef … yummmmm
There were plenty of seating and service was fast. Be sure to book a table as it does get very busy even on a weeknight. When we finished our meal, the line outside was pretty long. I would want to go back again next time if we don’t have the kids with us so we can enjoy another all you can eat meal!
