For most people the special places are mostly dream beaches, mountains and the usual. But there is also something special. In every country and yet always a bit different.
It is the friendliness of the people. Here at the beach of Colombo on Sri Lanka there are mostly only locals to be found. Why? Because the beach is not too crowded. Because the beach is not one of the most beautiful on the island. Nevertheless there is often a lot going on here. The people come here after work, are here together with their family at the end of the day, or as a couple you can walk undisturbed along the beach.
Here, exactly here where you wouldn't expect it - here is a good portion of friendliness. Honest friendliness. If you've traveled a lot, you'll easily notice the real difference at some point.
What is the point of seeing a place that is beautiful but doesn't touch you? It's like with the pictures. If you make your own pictures and later look at them, then it touches you more than if you only get to see these pictures of another person. Because your feelings and memories depend on it. So banal things in the photos can unleash great emotions.
Für für die meisten Menschen zählen zu den besonderen Orten meistens Traumstrände, Berge und das Übliche. Doch es gibt auch etwas anderes Besonderes. In jedem Land und dennoch immer ein bisschen anders.
Es ist die Freundlichkeit der Menschen. Hier am Strand von Colombo auf Sri Lanka sind meistens nur Einheimische zu finden. Warum? Weil der Strand nicht zu den schönsten auf der Insel zählt. Dennoch ist hier oft viel los. Die Menschen kommen hier nach der Arbeit her, sind zusammen mit ihrer Familie hier noch bei abklingen des Tages, oder als Pärchen kann man hier ungestört am Strand entlang laufen.
Hier, genau hier wo man es nicht erwartet- hier gibt es eine ordentliche Portion Freundlichkeit. Ehrliche Freundlichkeit. Wenn du viel gereist bist, dann merkst du irgendwann ganz leicht den echten Unterschied.
Was nützt es dir, einen Ort zu sehen, der zwar schön ist, aber dich nicht berührt? Es ist wie mit den Bildern. Wenn du eigene Bilder machst und später diese anschaust, dann berührt es dich mehr, als wenn du diese Bilder von einer anderen Person nur zu sehen bekommst. Weil eben deine Gefühle und Erinnerung daran hängt. So können banale Dinge auf den Fotos große Emotionen entfesseln.
