Si no eres económicamente estable ¿Cómo planeas llegar a serlo?
Well, I'm not, but it's not only my fault, the whole country is not financial secure, those who were financial secure are not now or had to change their ways to stay in that position.
Bueno, no lo soy, pero no es sólo culpa mía, el país entero no tiene seguridad financiera, los que la tenían no la tienen ahora o han tenido que cambiar su forma de actuar para mantenerse en esa posición.
In the first place, I want to get out of this country, I also want to be a part of the change but, this change will take decades, and I have already wasted all my youth here, I'm not that good person, I don't want to sacrifice myself on purpose for the well being of other that are doing nothing and having a better funnier life.
En primer lugar, quiero salir de este país, también quiero ser parte del cambio pero, este cambio tomará décadas, y ya he desperdiciado toda mi juventud aquí, no soy tan buena persona, no quiero sacrificarme a propósito por el bienestar de otros que no hacen nada y tienen una vida más divertida.
But that possibility is not sure, I can't count on it as the main option so, in the mean time I have to work thinking as I have to stay here. I plan on finding a source of income that doesn't depend on a salary. Right now it is Hive, my source of income that doesn't depend on a salary, but this isn't stable also, it depends on many factors, so it's a part of the way but not the main goal.
Pero esa posibilidad no es segura, no puedo contar con ella como opción principal así que, mientras tanto, tengo que trabajar pensando que tengo que quedarme aquí. Pienso encontrar una fuente de ingresos que no dependa de un sueldo. Ahora mismo es Hive, mi fuente de ingresos que no depende de un salario, pero esto tampoco es estable, depende de muchos factores, así que es una parte del camino pero no el objetivo principal.
I have a career in arts, so I have to honor it, and one of my options is to create a business related to it. Not just selling art but a whole space of entertainment, and I won't say "cultural" even when is the goal, because any time you use that word here in my country people think on going on flip flops, bad drinks and a random guy with a guitar narrating poetry.
I want more than that, a whole new concept that might be not new in the world but certainly is in my city, and even if more people start to do it, it will be good, it would bring new life to this city.
Tengo una carrera de artes, así que quiero honrarla, y una de mis opciones es crear un negocio relacionado. No sólo vender arte sino todo un espacio de entretenimiento, no diré "cultural" aunque sea el objetivo, porque siempre que usas esa palabra aquí, la gente piensa en ir en chancletas, malos tragos y un tipo raro con una guitarra narrando poesía.
Quiero más que eso, un concepto nuevo, que puede que no sea nuevo en el mundo, pero que sin duda lo es en mi ciudad, e incluso si más gente empieza a hacerlo, será bueno, traerá nueva vida a esta ciudad.
