Reflections Repeated in Silence

Once again I’m taking part in this reflections contest, this time in round #272.

Some reflections appear in places we see every day, yet they still manage to surprise us.
This time, inside a bathroom, I noticed how two washbasins resting beneath a mirror created an interesting visual effect. What normally feels ordinary suddenly became a composition of repeated forms and quiet symmetry.
The mirror reflected the sinks, the light, and part of the surrounding space, doubling the scene and giving it unexpected depth. The surfaces seemed to continue beyond their physical limits, as if the room briefly expanded through reflection.
I paused for a moment to observe how simple objects can transform when reflected back at us. The curves of the washbasins, the clean lines, and the balance between light and shadow created a calm atmosphere that felt almost geometric.
There was nothing extravagant in the scene, and perhaps that is what made it interesting. Reflections often reveal beauty hidden inside routine, turning familiar spaces into something worth looking at again.
Sometimes, all it takes is a mirror to remind us that even the simplest places can hold another perspective.

Reflejos repetidos en silencio

Una vez más participo en este concurso de reflejos, esta vez en la ronda #272.

Algunos reflejos aparecen en lugares que vemos todos los días, y aun así logran sorprendernos.
Esta vez, dentro de un baño, noté cómo dos lavamanos colocados bajo un espejo creaban un efecto visual interesante. Lo que normalmente parece algo cotidiano se transformó en una composición de formas repetidas y silenciosa simetría.
El espejo reflejaba los lavamanos, la luz y parte del espacio alrededor, duplicando la escena y dándole una profundidad inesperada. Las superficies parecían continuar más allá de sus límites físicos, como si el lugar se expandiera por un instante a través del reflejo.
Me detuve un momento a observar cómo objetos tan simples pueden transformarse cuando son devueltos hacia nosotros por un espejo. Las curvas de los lavamanos, las líneas limpias y el equilibrio entre luz y sombra creaban una atmósfera tranquila, casi geométrica.
No había nada extravagante en la escena, y quizás precisamente ahí estaba su interés. Los reflejos muchas veces revelan una belleza escondida dentro de la rutina, convirtiendo espacios familiares en algo digno de mirar nuevamente.
A veces, todo lo que hace falta es un espejo para recordarnos que incluso los lugares más simples pueden contener otra perspectiva.
