I'm taking you along with me as I create a new card deck for myself. I will create it with an American Indian theme as I did once before. What is Lenormand? - check out my previous article.
Card 28 - MAN
Now, here's a card I've been waiting for for ages... It was literally months ago when I found the beautiful picture being featured on this card. I fell in love instantly!
So, here's the run down on this card. I'm not going to go into ethereal realms with this one - or intuition. This card is exactly what it appears... a person, particularly a male person.
- If you are a man, it may refer to you, a male partner or a rival.
- If you are a woman, it may refer to a partner (real or desired).
- Think of both positive and negative aspects of the male gender.
- Positive: strong, protective, provider; negative: egotistical or proud.

For my new card, For my new card, I hit Google Images search, looking for something with CC0 (Creative Commons 0) licensing meaning that I don't always have to remember to credit someone - essential if I were to start doing paid readings with these cards.
I also had to find out which traditional playing card is associated with this card. So, here is my result:

I love this picture because it exemplifies the ideal Native man, in many ways. He's very handsome, strong with leadership skills - meaning he's a wise and fair diplomat of sorts.
I didn't need to do much to the image, I found it perfect the way it was.
I used GIMP to layer on the playing card, then exported it to Photoscape where I added the text and the margin. That was it.
