Who's The Dog?
Spikkel ( Dutch for Speckle or Dot), a border collie of 7 years old, around 50 in human years.
It's my parents' dog. I lived with my parents for a while, when he joined their household, so Spikkel and I have a special bond.
Where did I let the dog out?
Reeuwijkse Plassen ( Lakes of Reeuwijk ), Gouda, The Netherlands.
I must have made this walk hundreds of times, with two different dogs. Not just with Spikkel but also with his predecessor, the dog that I grew up with. This was a border collie too, who listened to the name 'Dingle'. He passed away in 1996 or 1997, at the ripe age of 15.
Fun Fact:
Back in 2012, When Spikkel was less than a year old, he starred in 'A Dogumentary'. It was the 7th film of my 12movies12minutes project.
