Hi everyone. Hope you all are well as always.
This is the continuation of my trip to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in Jakarta. The TMII area is so large that a day wouldn't be enough to explore it. Even though I had been around for a day on a cart, I still hadn't explored the entire area of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. I missed museums, places of worship, and also many replicas of traditional houses. One interesting place after that exhaustion was the Children's Palace. It caught my attention because it reminded me of Disneyland. I thought I could go inside, so I stopped by. However, you can't go inside the palace. So I only took photos from the outside.
Let's get it!
Children's Palace
To get around Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park), I opted to ride on the cart provided by the management. Then, my mom and I saw replicas of traditional houses from all of Indonesia's provinces. However, when we arrived in the Eastern Indonesia area, I saw this palace, so beautiful. Its location was so unique, amidst the historical traditional houses. I didn't recognize this palace at all; I assumed it was Cinderella's Palace, though I wasn't sure. But actually that is Children's Palace.
But, I wasn't entirely wrong. This children's palace standing before me was a palace initiated by President Soeharto and inspired by the Cinderella fairy tale. You know that fairy tale is very famous worldwide, and even back then—when President Soeharto was still in office, he built this palace 39 years ago. Interesting, isn't it? I've been to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah several times, but this is the first time I've seen this Children's Palace.
Since this palace is called the Children's Palace, it's meant for children, with many kid-friendly attractions. Unfortunately, the palace wasn't open at the time, so I missed the opportunity to see it.
Otherwise, I'd take you on a tour and glimpse replicas of traditional houses from several provinces in Indonesia.
Although the traditional houses you see above are replicas, the owners of this business have perfectly replicated every detail. The smallest details, from the size, the history, to the sheer number of traditional houses in the province, have been perfectly executed. I must commend the creators of these replica traditional houses for their incredible resemblance. I entered several of the traditional houses, and the vibe was truly traditional. If you want to explore Indonesia in one day, head to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park), as you can see a glimpse of the entire country here.
What do you think?

Hi, Halo, Annyeong, welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
