Whichever country you go to, the first place you will stop at is the airport. Although it is only an airport where passengers stop before going to the destination country, the airport always has its charm. Airports nowadays are a place to introduce the culture of the country where they are located.
I remember how my first encounter with Istanbul Airport was. It was a very interesting impression because even though it didn't have much difference from airports in Indonesia, I was still amazed by the grandeur of the interior.
Istanbul airport is very spacious. I don't think it's enough to just one day around it because many cool spots must be captured on your cellphone camera.
looks busy. The airport is crowded but it is not chaos. Everyone walked in an orderly manner without making a fuss. so the atmosphere is very relaxing.
Istanbul Airport is located in Arnavutkoy, one of the cities in Istanbul on the European continent. It is the largest airport in Turkey and can accommodate more than 90 million passengers. Istanbul Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe and the 13th busiest airport in the world.
As I read on Wikipedia, this airport was built on 7 June 2014 and was inaugurated on 26 February 2018. It turns out that it is new. When I set foot there, the vibe seemed to have just been built. This is the same as when I first set foot at Kuala Namu airport, North Sumatra.
As I said before that this airport is very wide. Even just to go to the toilet, I'm tired. Moreover, you have to move from the arrival gate to the gate where you will exit the airport.
This is in front of the migration space. As you see that is big. To reach, the end of those spaces is very tiring.
The Best Part of Istanbul Airport For Me
I haven't toured the entire Istanbul airport yet but I already have the part I like, namely the ceiling. I like the design of the ceiling. Looks simple but can still say that 'I'm luxurious'.
This part of the ceiling shows how futuristic Istanbul Airport is, yeah even though I don't understand architecture, I admire the interior and architecture of this airport.
The airport was designed by the London-based company Grimshaw, the Nordic Office of Architecture, and Haptic Architects, the London-based architectural firm Grimshaw. Although originally from London, this company designed the airport to a dome-shaped. They also create runways that are similar or similar to tulips when viewed from a height.
Unfortunately, I wasn't sitting by the window so I couldn't see the shape of the tulips.
BONUS
However, I have a bad story. The airport is very big, so crime also happens here. It happened when we wanted to go back to Indonesia. Someone came up to us and said he wanted a transfer. It was a terrible experience even though we were able to escape the trick.
Which led us to believe he was a con man, he said rudely when we couldn't be fooled by him.
Thanks for reading mu blog.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of them are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author.
