Hello, Hivers!
Today was one of the most fun and memorable days I’ve had in a while. My relatives came over and we all decided to go to the beach. A long time plan that has yet to happen. There was a lot of chatting and excitement as we got ready, and everyone was in a really good mood.
~It's our minivan going uphill first leaving us behind😆
Getting there wasn’t super easy though, we had to walk quite a long road before we could actually see the beach. It felt like forever at times, especially under the heat, but we kept each other entertained along the way with jokes and random conversations. The road was kind of quiet, but you could smell the salty ocean air the closer we got, which made the whole thing feel worth it.
And when we finally got there—wow, astonishing! The beach was beautiful. The waves were crashing gently, the sun was shining, and the water looked so clear and inviting. We didn’t even wait around; some of us ran straight into the ocean. It felt amazing to cool off after that long walk.
The accommodation is inexpensive. We were given the option to take air-conditioned rooms or open beach huts. We took the open beach hut and used our small tent. The fresh breeze is what we were after. Guests can also choose from different activities. You can a small boat that you can paddle on your own around the island across from the shore. They also offer kayaking and island hopping.
As for the food, we brought our own. They also offer fresh seafood. Guests can buy from the fisher folks from the island. You can choose from fresh squids, shrimps, crabs and big fish.
We swam, played around in the shallow water, and even built some sandcastles just for fun. Others were chilling on mats, snacking and talking. Some set up a tent so we can store our belongings in. It was just one of those days where everything felt right—no stress, no rush, just good vibes and good company.
As the day went on, the sky started to turn all orange and pink. We went to the top hill and saw a cafe. There we sat down and watched the sunset together, which felt like the perfect way to end it all. The walk back was a little quieter since we were all pretty tired, but it was the good kind of tired.
Honestly, the long walk to the beach didn’t even matter anymore. The day was totally worth it.
