Hello hivers! I just made the completion of my charcoal drawing titled the union, basically because theyre a couple(husband and wife). I started with basic and feint outlines in grid boxes to achieve exact proportioning and for easier corrections in place of mistakes.
I loved how the result turned out tho its not the best, i tried to achieve depth and more realism by covering up the background with very thick black charcoal but before then i was keen on making sure resemblance and proportion was 100% as some stages cant be undone.
At this point I started becoming impatient because i couldn’t wait to see what the final stage would look like, thats an issue i always face sometimes while drawing, making me rush the process so much when im close to the finish point.
At the end i was delighted at the result and here’s what it looks like. It was really challenging but persistence helped a lot.
