Holy Molly! Today was CRAZY busy and it went by in a blur of activity.
I started off my day early (5am) with the intention of getting my #AutomaticWin... only problem... I forgot to screen capture it. I got talking with someone and completely forgot even with the alarm I have set to go off 15 minutes before 10am. Darn it!
Oooohhhh well! I’m just going to have to pay close attention tomorrow morning as I’m going to wake up early and go for an #AutomaticWin again!
The other thing that made today a busy one is I had a doctors appointment at 13:00. For me getting a regular check up is just something I do around this time each year. How often do you go for a full physical? Once every year? Every 2 years? How about once every 5 or maybe it’s every decade? Maybe there are some of you WHO NEVER GO TO THE DOCTOR! I don’t know!? You tell me!
After my doctors appointment I headed to a local destination for today’s #Seven77 Push-ups! It was fun to take the video in this super fly spot and the video turned out pretty cool! I ran out of time, however, to completely edit it how I wanted it to be... but hey! I’m 80% happy with my efforts as I’m learning a new movie editor. It's called Famora.
Anyone use this video editor for their to create their videos? I’m giving it a try because it’s got some pretty neat functionality built right in... but that means it’s taking me a bit to learn the new software. But hey! I think today’s video is KICKING IT OLD SCHOOL! How about you?! 😃
Ok! So now I need to cover 2 things of note.
1] #EveryStepCounts
So it’s been a little nuts for me over the last couple weeks... I have been dedicated to registering my steps with nearly every day... but I’m a bit behind on my weekly #EveryStepCounts updates. Tomorrow I have lots more time so I think going forward I’m going to be shifting my #EveryStepCounts updates to my Wednesday’s from here on.
You know what... when it comes to trouble shooting your schedule... I have found it always good to not stress to much. The main thing is to NEVER give up annnnnd when something’s not working admit it... then once that’s out of the way get to work adjusting, tweaking, problem solving, etc.
That's what it’s all about. It’s part of having a sane and reasonable plan that's sustainable... being able to adjust on the fly... just like how a pilot adjusts his flight path every couple minutes on his way from point A to point B! You may think life’s trajectory is a straight one... but I, from personal experience, have found that it is quite the contrarily NOT! It’s more of a scribbly line. Honestly reading feed back allows you the chance to adjust. That’s the surest way to reaching any objective... Be it fitness, relationship, business, etc.
So it is on that note that I will be tweaking my posting schedule for the #EveryStepCounts Initiative. Determining what’s working well and what’s not isn’t always easy... but it’s pretty darn important if you ultimately want to reach your goals!
2] #DoubleBack
So on that note... I got some nice feed back from . On my last #DoubleBack post... (Thank you for that by the way
! I really appreciate your helpful comment.) He mentioned that I shouldn’t worry about the edits and that my content was always some quality effort expended.
Anyways... that was a real nice comment and it actually got me thinking... I’m going to be modifying the expectation around the original idea of the #DoubleBack post. Rather than trying to edit the post I think instead I will use the #DoubleBack post to buy me the time I’m short on (and recover the lost sleep I’m catching up on) so instead of editing the post... I’m going to use the #DoubleBack post to draw attention to an old post I made (or that someone I appreciate made in the past.) that I think could could be useful to all of you my Steem Friends.
So this will really help as I will no longer feel obligate to edit the post. My content is good (and improving every day!) so I’m going to use the #DoubleBack post to, rather, high-light some of those previous posts. This will enable me to be more forward facing with this Blog.
What do you think? Is this a smart way to buy back time when it’s sorely needed? Do you guys and girls have any suggestions for me? Any and all feedback is appreciated! :)
Ok! That’s it from me tonight! Thank you for reading this post and keeping up with my day! Thank you as well to everyone whose been commenting and up-voting on my posts and videos! I appreciate you all so much!
See you all tomorrow!
