Creativity can arise from a very simple thing. Even from a banana leaf, it can bring art and joy to children.
The materials needed are also simple, namely:
Food coloring
Banana Stems
Knife
HVS paper
Together with the children we get food coloring for Rp. 2,000, - / bottle with a choice of pink and green. Cut some banana fronds from the tree by us using a knife and cut into small and short pieces about 10 cm. The purpose of using this simple media is to train and increase creativity, both fine and gross motor skills and imagination.
We also prepare two places as a container for us to dissolve the food coloring separately. Our stages of creating art from banana stalks are as follows:
Prepare blank hvs paper
Dip the tip of the banana leaf stalk in the red dye, for example
Then we paste it onto paper according to our wishes, such as flower petals for example
Dip the other end of the banana leaf in the green dye
Then stick it to the paper like a leaf shape.
Frond sizes that are different, big and small, can be used to improve as we cut the frond the size of the little finger with the tip that we sharpen can be used to draw lines.
Give the opportunity to the children to improvise and imagine
For the results it is not the main thing, but the process will be a lesson in itself
It turns out that this simple and cheap way can bring joy and joy to the children as a distraction to get rid of boredom and fatigue.
That is our activity this afternoon with the children. Hopefully this will give them a good impression that there is a family that faithfully accompanies and loves them even in a simple way.
