11 Unpublished Oil Pastels from 2023

Owed to a particular personal situation, my participation in our Hive community has suffered, to put it mildly. So today, I figure it's high time for a sign of life. Every day above ground is a good day, right?

Aufgrund einer besonderen persönlichen Situation hat meine Mitwirkung in unserer Hive-Community doch arg gelitten, um es milde auszudrücken. Heute denke ich deshalb, dass es höchste Zeit für ein Lebenszeichen ist. Jeder Tag über Tage ist ein guter Tag, nicht wahr?

I have not totally given up my painting practice, and this is the remainder of my 2023 paintings I hadn't gotten around to publish yet. Sorry for the glare on the photos; the paintings are sealed in protective cellophane sleeves already. As you may know, oil pastels never dry, so they need to be protected and handled with care.

Ich habe meine Malübungen nicht vollständig aufgegeben, und das hier sind die Gemälde aus 2023, die ich noch nicht veröffentlicht hatte. Entschuldigt die Reflektionen auf den Fotos; die Bilder sind bereits in schützende Zellophanhüllen versiegelt. Wie ihr vielleicht wisst, trocknen Ölpastelle nie, daher müssen sie geschützt und sorgfältig gehandhabt werden.
