Valldemossa is a tyni village in the Tramontana mountain range on the island of Mallorca. As can be seen in the picture, the urban nucleus has remained intact for more than two centuries, which makes the village a place of a special charme. At the top left we can see La Cartuja, a convent famous for the fact that the virtuoso composer and pianist Fryderyc Chopin and his partner, the writer George Sand, spent a long winter in the convent recovering from tuberculosis while still composing.

Valldemossa es una pequeña localidad de la Sierra de Tramontana en la isla de Mallorca. Como se puede ver en la imagen, el núcleo urbano se ha mantenido intacto desde más de dos siglos, lo que hace del pueblo un lugar de un enacanato especial. En la parte superior izquierda podemos ver La Cartuja, un convento famoso por que el virtuoso compositor y pianista Fryedyc Chopin y su pareja la escritora George Sand pasaron en el convento un largo invierno recuperándose de su tuberculosis sin dejar de componer.
