Underground car parks always produce a sense of intrigue and sometimes the atmosphere is eerie, perhaps because of the influence of cinema, as there are many films in which there are scenes of terror and even crimes in these urban spaces.
The work I am submitting today does not have much to do with the threatening atmosphere I have mentioned, well... just a bit. It is the underground car park of a building in the Balearic Islands, which has not yet been used, so it is totally (or almost) empty. I took advantage of my visit to the building to make this small reportage of a space that is not normally photographed. The structure of the place is in the shape of an 'L' and my surprise was to find a car parked down there, and even more so when I had been informed that nobody was still living in the residential building. In the end it turned out to be the security guard's vehicle.

Los aparcamientos subterráneos siempre producen una sensación de intriga y a veces el ambiente es sobrecogedor, quizás sea por la influencia del cine, ya que hay multitud de películas en las que se producen escenas de terror, y hasta crímenes en estos espacios tan urbanos.
El trabajo que presento hoy no tiene mucho que ver con ese ambiente amenazante del que he hablado, bueno... un poco sí. Es el aparcamiento subterráneo de un edificio en las Islas Baleares, que todavía no ha sido usado, por lo que está totalmente (o casi) vacío. Aproveché mi visita al edificio para hacer este pequeño reportaje de un espacio que normalmente no se fotografía. La estructura del lugar es en forma de 'L' y mi sorpresa fue encontrarme un coche aparcado allá abajo, y más cuando me habían informado que en el edificio de viviendas, todavía no vivía nadie. Al final resultó que era el vehículo del guarda de seguridad.
