I came across a photo from a facebook page and it got me thinking that there are rich people who are really mean to poor people.
I don't know if this happens all over the world like in America, Europe, Asia and so on, but in Africa, in particularly Nigeria where I come from, you find rich people who are really mean and arrogant towards poor people.
I used to know this poor man who used to work for a certain rich man. When it is time for the rich man to pay the poor man his monthly salary, he deliberately delays the payment even after the month has ended. Sometimes it can go into the middle of the next month before the rich man decides to pay the poor man his salary.
Even at this, when the rich man decides to finally pay the poor man his salary, he gives it to his son to pay the poor man and the son further causes the poor man more pain by taking out of the little money he is supposed to give him.
So at the end of the day, the poor man is left with nothing significant to spend for himself and his family.
I will stop here, but there are a lot more true stories of rich people treat poor people badly in my area and the one I mentioned, is just the tip of the icebag. There are many more worst things rich people do to poor people in my area, that if I tell you, you will feel sorry for the poor people.
I am not a rich man yet nor a poor man, but I want to sound this note of warning to rich people, that they should not be mean to poor people. Rich people should know that they are not more special than poor people because at the end of the day, rich people and poor people will all end up in the same place when they die.
No matter how big your house is, or how recent your car is, how big your bank account is, our graves will still be the same.
