This week's choice of dessert is an easy one. I just love to visit a place with bright interiors because it brings out the positive and light mood.
I tried this confectionery once like a year ago and it was just last week when I visited again. It's just very near to my workplace, but it's ironic that I went there on a weekend. It was because I attended my first yoga class near the area, so after yoga, we craved for desserts.
The nearest dessert place is 10 Dove Street, so we went there. Here are my thoughts about the confectionery:
10 DOVE STREET CONFECTIONERY
10 Dove Street has about 6 branches in metropolitan Cebu and it's known for its well-lighted interiors. Visiting one of their branches will truly elevate your mood.
The staff were very welcoming and they assisted us in choosing on what would be our orders. We immediately decided to have the dream cake, but we were a little bit indecisive in choosing our drinks. Good thing the staff who took our orders was very patient.
Let's talk about their food. We tried their dream cake and it was good. I'm not really a super fan of chocolate cakes so I might not be a good source of a fair review, but my told me that it was good. She said that she tasted better ones, but the dream cake of 10 Dove Street is good enough.
We paired the dream cake with our favorite drinks. It was a night that's full of sweets.
I noticed that their price range is a little bit higher than other pastry shops in the area. It's expected because the quality of their cakes and desserts were top notch. But before, they offered a competitive price range. I realized that maybe they're transforming their image into a high-end confectionery.
Overall, I really recommend everyone to try 10 Dove Street at least once. If you're a sweet tooth, don't miss this out!
