Summer is a challenging time for me to post daily to the blog as is my aim. The lack of schedule, family at home all the time and extra summer activities and trips make for some fun and hectic times.
Makes for some good steps though!
I generally don’t get to 10k steps (as it only gets counted when I have my phone with me) but golf is probably my responsible for 75% of my 10k step days. Friday was one of those days.
It had been 3 weeks since and I had a chance to business golf and it almost didn’t even happen today. Our schedules are all over the place with extracurricular events and business ramping up. We made it happen though.
I particularly enjoy this picture as it was a lofty wedge from hundred yards out and it had spin enough to bite and actually spin backwards. I left myself a lengthy par putt that I actually left 2inches short for a heartbreak bogey.
Not heartbreaking really as I am striving for bogey golf these days which is not bad for a casual golfer.
I think that I was around 8500 steps after golf when I got the call to radically transform into bartender mode to help out at a friend’s restaurant.
It was a packed house (or as packed as you can have it with COVID restrictions) with a jazz singer from the east coast. She was accompanied by Holly Cole’s piano player and a host of very talented musicians.
All in all a great long day that produced fantastic golf, some big business developments, a fun night of drink mixing and music, topped off by some late night gaming, and 10,000 steps!
Happy Friday!
