The death toll from opioids has hit Crisis levels in Canada and many addicts (that have survived) claim that their addiction to drugs started with harmless Marijuana.... what do they put into the Marijuana in Canada ????
Is it the pesticides ???
Canadians are overdosing by the Bucket loads so far in 2018.
What is happening to the Youth of Canada ????
Maybe Legal weed will solve all these problems ....
Responding to Canada’s opioid crisis
Canada is facing a national opioid crisis. The growing number of overdoses and deaths caused by opioids, including fentanyl, is a public health emergency. This is a complex health and social issue that needs a response that is comprehensive, collaborative, compassionate and evidence-based.
Canada is on track to record more than 4,000 deaths linked to the ongoing opioid crisis in 2017, new numbers released Monday suggest, in spite of all efforts to reduce overdoses from powerful drugs like fentanyl.
In a statement released Monday afternoon, the government’s special advisory committee on the epidemic revealed that, based on available data from 10 provinces and the territories, at least 1,460 people died in the first half of this year.
