In a previous post I mentioned my experiment to stop grubs getting into my containers.
Well, so far it is working well and the netting is preventing the beetles that cause the grubs from getting into the soil.
My beetroot and spinach seeds are now popping through the soil and I will soon be able to place the netting on to the soil at the base of the plants when they are bigger.
If I am successful , I shall do this on all my containers when planting out new seeds.
Looking forward to no more grub infested pots!
