19 Days To Go, But Who's Counting? (Steemit Meet-Up in Van City, LA...

Bet you have heard this BlockParty that will be happening in very near future, the brain child of Hive account@enginewitty. If you have not, please give yourself a browse, and try to attend, bet it's gonna be superb :)

My Discord DM now and then would beep a message from Justin (enginewitty), as he is trying hard to make me attend the party. Justin and I plus my family have met up before, while we were vacationing in Nashville. He drove up to our hotel to meet us in person. At that point, Justin and I been Steemit buddies for a year at least, or maybe more, but who's counting lol

The problem is, when the 1st time he told me about this BlockParty, my family and I have already booked hotels, tickets, and whatnot for our Summer hols. He insisted that we cancel our hols just to attend BlockParty. I guess he's missing my fat cheeks that much, hey, Justin hahaha

Unfortunately we won't be going to BlockParty because this Summer hols is a must for us.

Justin was thinking, dude, your face is half cut. And I was saying, dude, am not gonna show my fatself to Steemit - these days long gone tho, as am even dtubing myself always thesedays lol

Last December, we were meant to fly home to Australia and would stay til January (extending the travel to Indonesia) as I wanted to ring in NYE and my birthday in Australia. I have not been home for forever. More than 20 years. After so much planning, my Aussie Dad sadly passed away, a month before we flew. So things had to be changed and adjusted.

In the end, my Aussie fam is flying to Canada instead, this Summer :D

I have not seen my Aussie sis since her wedding, and I have not seen my Aussie Mum since my wedding. So it's been ages, and there is always Steemit parties and meet-ups now and then, they can wait, while I cannot wait to reunite with my extended family :D

While my Discord would send messages from Justin, my e-mail would send messages of "who's counting" from my Mum and sis hahaha

42 days to go, but who's counting, Mum said. 31 days to go, but who's counting, sis said.

Now there are only 19 days to go, am TRULY counting :D

All my bags are packed, am so ready to go! (oh yeah, once the boys meet their Nana, we will be heading to USA...but no, not to BlockParty haha, sorry Justin!)

If you will be attending BlockParty, I wish you guys all the good time in the world :) Will be having a smile or two with you guys there, in my mind.

Now, if you are in Van City (am thinking of Hive account@d00k13), maybe we can meet up for an hour or two, if you have the time and time permits. Or maybe we will save it next year instead, when the tulips and lavenders are blooming :) As most likely I would spend my time more with the fam. while in Van City. But lemme know :)
