You bring up a song I've been singing for decades, i.e., " don't bite off more than you can chew"... And for most city folks moving into a totally different environment is more than they can do. So, I agree with you, Deanlogic; however, I also know that "country" means different things to different people. I think it's totally feasible for city folks to relocate to a large town ( population greater than 5000) which is surrounded by countryside... A family could move and obtain employment and buy a few acres outside of city limits and have a pretty decent life... But to uproot and head out deep in the sticks? No...
