The sticks are not for everybody, in fact not for the vast majority of folks. It is a state of mind. You can't even imagine how quite it is, it would make most people go batty! I love it, my wife loves it, people that come to visit us from the city hate it! They can't handle that there is no distractions, it takes talent to be comfortable with the thoughts in you own head. If you think this is for you find a place to camp for a week at at time, then two weeks and so on. There is lots to learn and up front the locals are not going to help you, respect is earned in the sticks and they don't let people in easy, it takes time.
Do you know how to do the basics? have you watched on his Youtube channel? you will need skills, skills you don't have if you have grown up in the city, not saying city folks are bad, its just different skill sets out here. Best of luck to anyone who is going to try it!
