I hope this answers your question, as well as giving you and others some outside the box tools for your toolboxes.
please post how to do the same thing without the gizmos attached to the bandage. SHTF scenarios, people will need to know how to do this with strips torn from bedsheets with a clean washcloth beneath it. That is how we learned it in boyscouts and girlscouts many many decades ago. During WWI and WWII, women held meetings in church halls and such to prepare boxes of bandages. What happens if the fancy factory made ones become unavailable? People still need to feel confidant that they can take care of it.
