My name is Sophie. I am a german math student and currently living in the wonderful city Bordeaux!

I heard about this platform and it seems a to be a community of many motivated people sharing their knowledge and interests.
I am working on my master thesis about elliptic curve cryptography and Bitcoin. I try to follow all the improvments and updates in the cryptocurrency world and I was happy to see that there are many users writing about this topic!
Besides math and cryptography I love rock-climbing and am trying to rebuilt my stregth after almost a year without climbing. (My hands are all princess-like again! :D )
The rest of my time I try to live more and more of a zero-waste and environmental justifiable life. But I am not too rigorous about it, I still get seduced by many things ;)
This is my little roommate Maurice. My little french teacher. (To be honest his vocabulary is very limited. I don't tell him though, because I think I could not bear his disappointed look...)
On my profile I want to post news about cryptography, cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Zerocoin, ...), but also about positive and motivating things. I get very hopeless and tired of humanity watching news and reading about the current situation in politics and environmental topics. And I want to work against that. There are so many projects, people giving all their time to make even a tiny difference, and one should not just bury one's head in the sand and give up. That's why I want to present projects and hope-giving news here.
There is enough bad news out there, so I want to show the bright side.
