Yesterday
I discovered I had a gas leak. Today I discovered it was from my gas stove. They did come out yesterday and check everything and fix a couple leaks. I did sleep with the window open. This morning I shut it and and maybe about 10 minnutes later detected a gas smell. Consumers Energy came out and checked everything including the gas stove again and we fixed one of the previous leaks again and now I can probably not shut off my gas at one of the shutoffs. Apparently if it is loose enough to turn it may leak. He also tagged a very minor leak. I was thinking maybe I had gas coming from the furnace since the stove checked out fine so we tried that and nothing really. Maybe 1 ppm from the vents which is not bad. I figured maybe I needed a new furnace though and maybe it was just not starting up well since the stove checked out fine. He went outside to his van to leave and I went back inside. I think after about 1 or 2 minutes I was about 3 or 4 feet from the stove and I smelled it again. He came back in and found nothing. I told him something like: This is crazy and maybe I am going nuts. I think he said something like it was probably just the filter on my refrigerator. I think he was about ready to give up but he did eventually move his sensor very close to one of the burners and got a very tiny reading. He then opened up the top of the stove and finally there was some small readings. I think he said maybe i needed to clean the burners and offered to turn off the stove. I figured I would be OK since I had the window open and it was a very small leak. Probably about 10 or 20 minutes later I did smell it again and shut off my stove.
I think what had happened is I had been "battling it out" on Steemit which may have elevated my brain function and senses and then 
I think I have recovered but will probably still leave a window open at least one more day. I think fresh air does help indoor air quality. I have a feeling my gas stove may have been leaking for years. :(

I did also find another gas leak in my neighborhood. I figured Consumers would not find it. It turns out they did. I smelled it from about 50 feet away and it was coming from under the ground. I guess it is still leaking since now I can smell it from a few feet away. I think they are coming out to fix it some more though. It is weird though because the gas or additive at levels below 1PPM does seem to have an impact on me. I feel dazed when I smell it.
I also feel that I have #recovered. :)
