Who ever has the vision and resources – this could be a great opportunity
I will start off with a story.
It is the year 2028
Jacques is 11 years old, he lives in a ordinary part of an ordinary suburb just outside of Paris.
It is snowing in what is a colder than usual winter. Jacques is home with his mother – his father is away on 3D photographic trip.
Jacques is a bit bored as it is school holidays, but he keeps himself busy, he has a very large Lego collection and a room full of Lego structures and models – nearly 3.5 million blocks of Lego in total.
Jacques has a an idea for a new Lego structure he will build in his room – he sees a fantasy apocalypto future where Paris has become a ghost city and largely abandoned, Jacques wants to recreate the Eiffel Tower in a dilapidated rusted and broken down state – Using Lego Blocks!
It is not an easy project – Jacques will need a very large number of unique Logo Blocks of the same type.
But, here is the thing – Jacques will not leave home to buy these Lego Blocks, he will not order them through an online store and no one he knows will bring him these Blocks.
Jacques has a rare disorder called Erythropoietic Protoporphyria – a painful sensitivity to sunlight.
2 Years ago Jacques ordered a very special product from Lego.
Jacques’ mum is in the kitchen preparing a hot hearty meal for the two of them - légumes rôtis français French Roasted Vegetables.
Jacques’ mum, however has had one of the knobs on their oven break in her hand – they will need another knob soon, to operate the oven properly.
But, here is the thing – Jacques’ mum will not leave home to buy this knob, she will not order it through an online store and no one she knows will bring her this knob.
Jacques takes a tablet to help with the rare disorder he has so he can, at least, spend a bit of time at his window in the sun.
But, here is the thing – Jacques will not leave home to buy these tablets, he will not order them through an online pharmacy and no one will bring him this medicine.
On one of the kitchen counter tops stands a rather unusual machine – but something that is quite normal and quite at home in the future.
The machine begins making a slight noise, then, the Home Management System – informs Jacques and his mum that Jacques’ medication will be ready in 4 minutes.
2 years ago Jacques ordered that special machine from Lego – it was a 3D printer / Injection moulder combo platform.
It allows Jacques to literally make his own Lego Blocks with Lego’s permission using authenticated Lego product files accessed by a distributed decentralized blockchain resource called Printerium.
1000s of people all over the world are official Lego Block Designers in 2018 – they only design the CAD files for sophisticated 3D Printer / Moulders to spit out Lego Blocks at will . Jacques has found a Lego Block designer named Pham from Vietnam. He is an official Lego community online CAD designer - Jacques has found him work online through the Printerium platform – Jacques will pay for the CAD files to be used on his Lego Printer / Moulder for his project, Pham will receive payment in PRX Tokens, so will Lego through Royalties rights.
But it does not end there – Legos proprietary Printer / Moulder can injection mould and print almost any structure, so Jacques has used Printerium to find the CAD files for Oven knobs and on will, be printed as well, by the Lego machine.
But that is not all, Printerium also facilitates the strange machine in their Kitchen, Jacques medication and his vitamin tablets are printing on that machine. Printerium is integrated with Patientory Blockchain housing Jacques’ medical records and his medication and vitamins are printed bespoke based on regular routine check ups and visits to a leading edge MRI and Health scanner 5 blocks down from his house – Rarely has he ever seen his Doctor face to face. His Doctor routinely checks his scans and reports on his health adding onto his medical record.
Jacques medical record and his Doctors input is then used to formulate ratios of drugs to print varying custom ‘one of a kind’ designed medication on a daily basis.
As the doctor patient relationship does not involve face to face contact, a great reduction in infectious diseases has been achieved worldwide.
Far fewer vehicles congest the roads in 2028 – raw printing materials are still delivered to your home but with one delivery of raw materials (resins, plastics and raw pharma) a family is able to print and mould dozens of items from broken clock faces to plastic cups and cutlery, toys and tools.
All facilitated by the Printerium network.
Please Note:
The Printerium Platform is currently abandoned – the currency is still traded on exchanges but the project is orphaned at the moment.
Are there any Blockchain Coder Adoption organisations out there?
The world needs you.
