I'm cool with a camera in a unit I rent as long as the owner agrees to allow me to access the camera wherever they may be residing at the time- sound fair?
Perhaps a more reasonable solution would be to have the camera footage stored in a secure manner by a third party and only if legal action is brought against renter for alleged damage to the property can the footage be accessed via subpoena- otherwise it remains private and is destroyed/deleted within a week.
