Steemit Basic Income Program : Important for New Steemians and their Mentors

I suggest that Steemit mentors or people who are new to the Steemit Program buy a “share” of Steemit Basic Income for their new followers or themselves. By purchasing a "share” of this program for you or your follower, you or they get an upvote of around 0.008 for one post per week. If the SBI recipient produces more the one post per week that amount is divided amongst all their posts that week.

This program has an added benefit: When you buy a “share” for a follower, you also get a share for yourself. I think this is a good method of engagement. It provides immediate tangible rewards to your followers. It is a good way for new Steemit community leaders to connect to members and new members can earn some Steem right away. Recently the program added an option to give your share to a second follower. So a leader can now purchase a share for two new Steemit Community members at a time.
