Take a look at the Impact Wrestling promo picture above. Is that a man or a monster? He kind of reminds me of a modern day Frankenstein. When I first started checking out Impact Wrestling on AXS TV, I was intrigued by this man who would appear in promos with the faction Honor No More. He has since turned face and left the faction after words with some of the members of HNM, including the final taunt of calling him a "bitch." He was using the name PCO, which at this time was standing for Perfect Creation One. When using those initials before, they were designed to stand for Pierre Carl Ouellet.
His birth name is Carl Josef Yvon Ouellet. After researching him, I didn't realize that I was actually a fan of his when he worked for the WWE, then known as the WWF. He dressed as a Mountie and wrestled as part of a tag team with Jacques Rougeau known as The Quebecers. They were three-time Tag Team Champions. In 1995, Ouellet returned as a singles competitor known as Jean-Pierre LaFitte. He feuded with Bret Hart culminating in an incredible match. Wearing an eye patch over his right eye, he actually lost his eye sight in his right eye at the age of 12 due to an accident involving a pellet gun.
He reunited with Jacques Rougeau in WCW as The Amazing French Canadians in 1996. This time, they didn't look like Mounties. In 1998, he returned to the WWF only to be eliminated in the first round of the Brawl For All tournament. He officially retired from professional wrestling in 2011, only to return to the ring in 2016. He has also worked with the ROH, ECW, IWA and MLW promotions. He also competed for the X Division title in TNA as "X," a masked grappler. At 300 pounds of pure muscle, this is one monster to avoid at all cost!
