Steem and Steem Dollars are bad investments. This is a fairly objective fact. Sure a few clever day traders have made good profits: But that's sort of the opposite of the vision of the people who created the chain {Steem power encourages holding, not day trading}. A lot of people see this serious problem with the steem chain, but is there a solution? I believe there is one singular solution to valuate steem and sbd.
What could this single solution to valuate steem and sbd be? Of course it's the infamous Inverted Pyramid Model. I made this one especially for the steem chain. I hinestly believe if this was the general model for steem developers, coders and witness etc then Steem/sbd would valuate. No one would call steem a ponzi or Pyramid Scheme.
In the reverse pyramid model: The capstone is not less important. The people who code the forks and such are still very crucial in this model. So are the developers. The reverse pyramid is just about everyone at their different levels INVESTING THE MOST INTO THE NEW USERS.
The Reverse Pyramid means investing the most resources on the noob beginners so you can potentially see the best returns. This could mean farming new accounts for new users and limiting whale account farming based on SP. This could mean Resource credits that are the same for everyone, instead of based on Sp. This could mean donating token bundles through steem.ninja. Theres a million different ways to put new users first.
Everything will be okay if we remember to love the little people. New users.
Here are some ideas based on the reverse pyramid.
1 Every user has the same Resource Credit cool down {not SP based.}
2 No account farming based on Resource Credits.
3 Discourage self-voting.
4 Vote for witnesses who help new users
5 Vote for witnesses who interact positively with small bloggers.
6 Keep User fees low for projects/Dapps.
7 Make getting your first account quicker
8 More connections to other chains
9 More connections to traditional social medias
Of course there are coders, developers and witnesses who follow this model already: They help new users more than themselves. However there may be systems and attitudes that the majority of steemers adapted that hurt the Roi of the steem token.
I believe we could reverse the negative Roi basically anytime we adapt this model.
