My C: drive is full.
Again.
There's no room.
I had to update my Unreal Engine from version 18(?) to 20... or was it from 19 to 21... I don't remember. Point is, there was 1 version inbetween I had to ignore.
Well, after updating the Engine, I moved on with the game dev course, and, well, the first thing I had to do was make a new project that included the Starter Pack. Without me doing anything myself, it already weighed 1.5 GB.
I think I'm going to postpone further learning of game dev until I come up with some genius idea or get some extra room / a new device.
Well, that doesn't mean that's it for coding.
I'm still excited and keen on learning web development.
I'm at 19% completion point of the Web Developer Bootcamp Udemy course and I'm hooked!
Sure, I'm still at the Front-End part of web dev but I'm soon moving on to Back-End. Hope that's not too frustrating in any way... But y'know, practice makes perfect, and Google is a great way of finding reliable resources if used right.
I wonder which end I'm more comfortable with in the end - am I more of a Front-End developer or a Back-End kinda girl? (wink-wink) Or maybe I'm a Full-Stackie? Ooh!
Inspecting Source Codes & All 'em Lorem Ipsum Generators!!!
Here's a little nerd talk for y'all, haha!
I've found myself checking sites Source Codes just out of curiosity from time to time, just to see if they use any kind of framework or what they've done to make some things or their web design work. This is something I never thought I'd be interested in before, but hey, life is full of surprises!
I've also dived into the world of Lorem Ipsum Generators!
For those who don't know, Lorem Ipsum is basically a placeholder text generator for anyone working with design (be it web, graphic, whatever needs text).
Well, at first I found Hipster Ipsum which generates random words hipsters would use (''Kickstarter mustache vinyl, tote bag ennui subway tile poke retro letterpress post-ironic air plant...'')
... but then I found The Ultimate List of Lorem Ipsum Generators, and through that - SLIpsum for Samuel L. Jackson quotes and Cat Ipsum.
Well, I haven't used Cat Ipsum yet, but I thought I'd bring it out.
I've been having tons of fun with Sam L. Jackson Ipsum, though.
Yes, Sir, I can boogie...
