As a former journalist, my favorite stories were driven by an interest in environmental stewardship. In the pursuit of a solution to environmental and economic problems, I found a singularity. In order to balance consumer production with a sustainable healthy environment, I found a solution.
Hemp. I’m currently invested in Hemp Inc. operating the largest Hemp processing facility in the Western Hemisphere. At this time the company looks to increase sales while paying off loans for the $20 million to build the facility. The company hopes to be a leader in a green American economy while bringing back value to the farming community.
Would like to stress that marijuana is not Hemp.
In regards to bringing new users to Steemit, my platform involves the production of my new audiobook Red Roses. Now for your consideration in the Voice Arts Awards and the Grammys, this artistic effort has attracted attention to the Steemit community from traditional institutions in the recording industry.
For these reasons, I’ve decided to write a haibun for the Community Improvement in Poverty contest . . .
My Entry:
Hemp can save the world
Hemp can save the world problems
Please let Hemp grow now
Parameters:
The controlled environment involves Subject #1 and Subject #2 living in a state where recreational marijuana has become legal. Both have lived in the area for years. Both will remain in the area for years. Both live on hourly paychecks. Subject #1 drinks alcohol and makes a little more money. Subject #2 smokes marijuana and makes a little less money.
Subject #1: Majority. Wants to be a leader at work. Gets information from mass media. Participates in centralized social media. Not actively engaging in social issues. Not concerned about energy or food production globally. Less interest in cryptocurrency.
Economic Microcosm: Spends monthly income. Has debt. Dependent on a job to sustain their standard of living.
Economic Macrocosm: Supports a government that cannot operate on a balanced budget and continues to stimulate national debt.
Subject #2: Minority. Work to make money because of society’s current structure. Empathetic to all social issues. Conscious of energy and food production globally and willing to invest in solutions. More interest in cryptocurrency.
Economic Microcosm: Spends money on necessities. Has savings. Not dependent on a job to sustain their current standard of living.
Economic Macrocosm: Sees no leadership in government with the power to change current trends of higher deficits and more catastrophic environmental disasters. Feels that society will collapse in the future.
Testing:
These subjects have only recently been discovered. More data on economic and environmental developments in concern to growth or decline needs to be collected as civilization moves into the future.
