This makes the process of starting a blog (a successful one) so much easier. However, writing about more than one topic is totally fine too. As long as you are writing about things that you are truly interested in. For example, when you take a look at my blog, what you'll see is a mix of motivation and promo-steem.
the secret to audience engagement is in the fact that your story is true and real to them. And you can't make it real to them, it at first it isn't real to you.

Blogging has become quite lucrative. With he world gradually becoming a global village, we see men and women leveraging on the benefits of making informations without borders. The best (top) bloggers in the world apparently earn quite a bit, even a part-time blogger can expect to make a nice profit if things are done correctly. That's in the blogging world. Even though we blog on Steemit, most would agree with me that our approach should be truly different. Since the core of this ecosystem is aided by a content-oriented mining.
we chose to blog here for some important reasons. One of which is the ease to monetize our blogs.
Whether our reasons are, we must never forget that Steemit earnings are not necesarily free. The reward pool is only as a result of risks and sacrifices made by various VEST holders.
To Share your story
One other reason why some individuals choose to blog is that a blog allows you to have a voice and be heard. Remember the golden maxim on our blog for several months now?

Well not everyone is heard these days. You can share your story. In Steemit terms, we refer to story as value. And your benefit will be the equivalent of the value you brought (trust me, that theory holds at most times).
Gaining some recognition
Earlier I mentioned, blogging make your voice heard. The incentive then becomes you gaining recognition.

So many have been tagged experts on the basis on writing on blogs and making online publications. We all can make this ecosystem great by aiming for such high standard and not putting up valuable contents.
Find a community
steemit at this point have gone beyond content ... it is now about having a community that apprecites what you do.
One important component that we forget here on steemit, especially for minnows starting their blogs is that, blogs don't read themselves. When you write a blog post, you should expect people engage and interact in comment and upvote. However on steemit, we ignore the former and are all carried away by the later. Through this, you get to interact and also secure interaction for your blog. Blogging creates a room for you to teach people based on your experience, and it also gives you the opportunity to learn from your readers as well.
On daily basis we have more and more people come to steemit with different definition of what they call value. And steemit is becoming more and more competitive. You have to up your game. Else, you'd watch people gradually outrun you in progress and reputation.
Make some commitment to redefine your motives and choose to know the things that are more important. It's bait, and I am gladly bringing you words from the offline minnow school.
For those who seek to know what this project is all about, you can read that below;
PHASE 1:
At this stage we teach some minnows at our offline classroom to help attain self-sustenance. These minnows will then work with us as a team, reproducing other minnows. Currently, we have just wrapped up with Phase 1. And Phase 2 which is more demanding kicked off already.
PHASE 2:
This basically is the core of the vision is to raise steem-backed entrepreneurs of young people. The method through which we execute the absolute idea goes as follows;
SKILL ACQUISITION PROJECTS: where various skills will be taught to foster the emergence of new entrepreneurs that thrive on voluntarism.
THE MINNOW SCHOOL TALENT HUNT: we greatly hope to give minnows who are not really writers but have other gifts such as singing, painting, dancing, acting a platform to express themselves and get their creativity beyond their minds. Basically, we are giving these young people a voice and ultimately awaken the writer in them.
THE MINNOW SCHOOL ART/MUSIC EXHIBITIONS: here talented young people will get to showcase their talents and the value they have to offer to the community. We will be sponsoring art projects and professional music careers will emerge with this.
