Steemit semakin berkembang. Indikasi berkembangnya steemit dapat dilihat dari jumlah pertemuan steemian di berbagai kota.

Baru baru ini, hampir 150 orang steemian bertemu di sebuah caffe di kawasan kota Lhokseumawe, Aceh.
Steemian chappter Biruen, seperti Hive account@dokter-purnama turut hadir. Belasan steemian chapter Biruen juga ikut.

Dari kawasan Lhokseumawe, puluhan steemian dari chapter Institut Negeri Agama Islam Maliskussaleh juga hadir. @ taslem adalah salah seorang pendiri chapter di Universitas Negeri Agama Islam Malikussaleh.

Dari Lhokseumawe, nampak hadir journalist yang steemian, seperti Hive account@armiden , Hive account@saifulbahrie , Hive account@deniandepa dan Hive account@rahmadantara.
