Today was yet another day to show love through an outreach to a Secondary School in Enugu, Nigeria.
I am the Outreach and Humanitarian director at Medical Research and Humanitarian Society of Nigeria(MEDRHUS). MEDRHUS is a humanitarian society funded through supports and contributions from members and non-members of the society aimed at carrying out Medical Outreaches where free Medical treatments are given, supporting people in distress, and carrying out Medical Researches for the improvement of life.
Today, we carried out our Valentine Outreach in arrears though. This outreach was first talked about Here.
Since Valentine's day was on a week day, we didn't want to disturb the students so we decided on making it a weekend.
We invited a National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) official who taught the students how to intervene in emergency conditions. She talked on Basic Life Support and its application in our lives. She was very practical and even got them to practice this.
The Outreach was at Lady Ibiam Secondary School, Enugu State. The students, the Principal, the teachers and the School Nurse were really grateful and wished we could visit again.
After the talk, we presented deworming drugs to the students and we left them better than we met them. They hope we return next time.

Everyday of my life, I yearn to make people happy. I want to be the reason someone in another continent smiles. I want to be the reason someone in another country, village, city is able to pay their tuition or that of their child/children. I want to make people feel so much love. I am already doing that, I hope that soon enough I will be able to reach more people.
