So I embarked on the journey for Owerri meet up with @Winniesamuels. We left at about 4:30pm. It was a three hours thirty minutes journey. It was really peaceful journey except for the fact that we arrived late.
My Journey cum Evangelism
While Enroute Owerri, I sat close to a perfect gentleman. I called him perfect because he was so nice and offered to help in various ways, viz, he helped call a vendor when I needed to buy something. I also mistakenly spilled my drink on his seat. I was expecting him to get a little bit angry but he rather offered to clean the seat himself. Whilst on the journey, we discussed about various things. He was married with a new born baby, he showed me pictures of his wife and we talked about other things.
So we got to that part where I had to explain why I was embarking on the journey. And my response was "I am going for Steemit Meet-up".
Now his curiosity increased. He wanted to know why I would travel all the way to another state for a meet-up. As the steemit evangelist that I am, I started shilling steem and steemit to him.
He really got interested and promised to attend the meet up.
Remember I told you that he is a gentleman right? He yet again played it out.
He took us by the hand to the hotel before leaving for his destination.
In all, I will say I had a less stressful. Thanks to the gentleman.
