I remember vividly when i joined Steemit after reading a Facebook post by . I followed the link by faith and did not know i could become an ambassador of hope in Uganda through Steemit!
I have to admit Steemit is a life changing opportunity for Africans or third world countries. It has the potential of helping many people financially as it's already doing to some right now.
I can remember those first days when I did not have a smart phone and i was promoting Steemit and people would just stare at me,i have talked and talked to many people and most are now just signing up after seeing my life change slightly.I am more happy when i see them sign up now.
It has been hard and still hard to explain Steemit to people here, but am happy along the way i met a few believers. It is with these believers that we shall move Steemit over to the whole country.
Never underestimate the hidden power of one determined person. It's fascinating how one person can cause immerse change. We should always not give up on ourselves.I know we are always faced with challenges as we promote Steemit here in Uganda, but we never give up.Its funny to say that up to even now people ask me how much money I have made from Steemit! It's human nature to want proof though!
I rememeber joining Steemit in June but became active in July 2017,i went out to promote Steemit enthusiastically only to be met with resistance! I kept on pushing hard as i had understood the potential Steemit has to offer.I went out to the extent of even printing a t.shirt to instil some belief in people! You can check the shirt below.
