The Day I Met @surpassinggoogle (Terry) in Steemsummit

I still remember this amazing day, with a special surprise at night and an unforgettable adventure after. We were having Steem summit (A collaborative event spearheadee by Hive account@ybanezkim26, Hive account@thegaillery, and Hive account@legendarryl) where hundreds of Steemians gather together for this amazing event.

As a way to inspire us more during the event, I requested a video from Hive account@surpassinggogle to share an inspirational message to us participants. Along with Hive account@sndbox founders Hive account@hansikhouse and Hive account@voronoi inspirational video (How communities play a big role into user experience), Terry provided us a sweet inspirational message Steemit, the power of communities and about life.

Not in my idea and nerves that Hive account@surpassinggoogle have a very special surprise to us Steemians. A very special gift that cost a lot. Yes, he flew here from Manila just to attend the event. He went here without anyone knowing he will be attending the Summit. Just when we thought his video was enough for us to have during the event, we never knew we will be meeting a tangible Hive account@surpassinggoogle.

I'm one of the lucky members to stay after the event. I probably stayed there because most of the Steemians who also remained were friends I got closed to. There, we had a talk in one whole table. Sitting next to each other, with him being at the center. We threw questions, he answered. He asked questions, we responded. We had serious talks and funny ones. We discussed how will Steemit be in the next coming years and how could it solve the revenue monopoly of the existing social media sites.

After that, we had a dinner. Just when we thought it is pay to eat dinner, we're glad Terry shouldered all of the bill in his pocket. That was really selfless act that we were really thankful of. We're around 13 Steemians gathered so I'm pretty sure the bill was heavy to shoulder. He managed to pay them all.
